SPARTA, Ky. (February 2008) Kentucky Speedway will
place single-race and Fanfest tickets for its six-weekend
2008 season are now on sale. The 66,098-seat facilitys
season begins May 10 and concludes Sept. 20. Event tickets
will range from $20 to $80 depending on event and seat location.
Single-event tickets can be reserved online through the
Tickets pages of www.kentuckyspeedway.com, at
speedway ticket offices located at 400 Buttermilk Pike,
Suite 100, in Ft. Mitchell, Ky., near Montgomery Inn and
the Sparta, Ky., Fan Center located off of I-71 Exit 57
and Ky. Hwy. 35 N, by phone at 1-888-652-RACE (7223) and
through Meijer stores.

Season ticket plans for the venues ninth season are
on sale now and range from $165 to $255. Plans can be reserved
online through the tickets pages of this website by dialing
(859) 578-2300 and pressing 2, or through both
track ticket offices.
Plans are loaded with special benefits such as a VIP Rewards
program membership that will help fans earn points toward
a discount off their 2009 plan renewal by making speedway
purchases, VIP Parking, reserved seats for each feature
event, cold pit and Fanfest passes, the option to purchase
admission to June 14, July 12 and Aug. 9 Outback Steakhouse
tailgate parties for a combined total of $60 as well as
the option to purchase additional event tickets at a discount.
The Outback Steakhouse Tailgate tent will be located in
the infield. Party goers will enjoy Outback Steakhouse fare,
games and music along with visits by event celebrities.
Kentucky Speedway will entertain guests with 10 events that
will include high-impact visits from the NASCAR Nationwide
Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, IndyCar Series, Indy
Pro Series, ARCA RE/MAX Series, street stock and bigger-than-life
Major League of Monster Trucks.
The ARCA RE/MAX Series will open the season May 10 with
the Drive Smart Buckle-Up Kentucky 150.
That race will be followed by grassroots street stock racing
May 24 during the Frank Kimmel Enduro Nationals II
Presented by Harley-Davidson of Cincinnati and Thoroughbred
Harley-Davidson of Florence, Ky.
NASCAR Nationwide Series Fanfest will give fans a unique,
close-up look at series drivers and their race machines
with on-track practice and a garage-area autograph session
June 13 before the track takes aim at attracting its eighth
consecutive capacity crowd for the June 14 Meijer
300 Presented by Oreo. NASCARs top developmental
series has entertained an average crowd of 70,962 during
its seven previous Kentucky visits and has crowned first-time
series victors the past two seasons.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will occupy the speedway
spotlight July 11-12 when it displays its full-contact brand
of racing during the Built Ford Tough 225 Presented
by the Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers. The ARCA RE/MAX
Series will open the third event weekend with a 150-mile
battle. Fans will be treated to precision passing and race
speeds of more than 200 mph Aug. 8-9 when IndyCar and Indy
Pro Series competitors scorch the speedway 1.5-mile paved
tri-oval during the Meijer Indy 300 and Kentucky
Indy Pro 100.
The weekend will get kick started with the second Fanfest
event of the season.
The 2008 campaign will come to a thunderous close Sept.
20 when Bigfoot and its fellow Major League of Monster Trucks
competitors race side-by-side at more than 70 mph on a winding,
obstacle-filled, custom-designed dirt track that will span
the infield near the frontstretch. The event also will include
earth-scattering freestyle monster truck and motocross competitions.
The speedway will once again add value to its entertainment
experience by presenting a concert prior to each feature
event. The artist line-up for the new season will be announced
in the coming weeks.
