Indianapolis, he studied film at Northwestern University and later

Scott Bindley, Co-Scriptwriter
Age: 39; Resides: India-napolis
Notable credits: Wrote screenplays for the TV shows Miracle
Beach (1992) and Johnny & Clyde (1995). Sold
an original screenplay for Loose Balls, the true story
of the American Basketball Association.
Tidbits: The freelance writer is a native of Indianapolis and studied
film at Northwestern University. In fact, the script for Madison
began as a class project that he and his brother later developed
into a feature-length project. When the brothers decided to make
the film, they met with Bonnie McCormick, Mike McCormick and Tony
Steinhardt to keep the story as close to the original as possible,
but with a Hollywood touch.
Jim Caviezel (Jim McCormick)
Born: Sept. 26, 1968 in Mount Vernon, Wash.

Tidbits: Wife, Kerry, whom he met on a blind date in 1993 and married
in 1997. Grew up in a Catholic family with three sisters and one
brother. His surname, Caviezel, is Romansch from Switzerland. Was
a high school basketball star and played for Bellevue Community
College until a foot injury his sophomore year ended his dream of
making the NBA. He turned his attention to acting. Surname pronounced
ka-VEE-zel.
Jake Lloyd (Mike McCormick)
Born: March 5, 1989 in Fort Collins, Colo.
Resides: Carmel, Ind.
Notable roles: Played Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: The Phantom
Menace (1999) which made him more famous than Caviezel during
Madison filming as a 10-year-old. Co-starred with Arnold
Schwar-zeneeger in Jingle All the Way (1996).
Tidbits: Lloyd hasnt worked on any films since Madison
and instead focused his attention on his education. He attended
Park Tudor Prep School and is now age 16 and a sophomore at Carmel
High School. His mother, Lisa, was a co-producer of Madison
and his younger sister, Madison, had a small role in Madison
and played Princess Ellie in The Phantom Menace.
Mary McCormack (Bonnie McCormick)
Born: Feb. 8, 1969, in Plainfield, N.J.
Notable roles: currently plays Kate Harper on TVs The
West Wing; Debbie in two episodes of TVs ER
(2003); Alison Stern in Howard Sterns Private Parts
(1997). She starred in Mystery Alaska (1999) opposite
Russell Crowe. She was directed by Clint Eastwood in True
Crime (1999). Recently, shes had TV roles on Traffic
(2004) and K Street (2003).
Tidbits: McCormack received critical acclaim for her role in Private
Parts. A graduate of Trinity College, she resides in Los Angeles.
Bruce Dern (Harry Volpi)
Born: June 4, 1936 in Chicago.
Notable roles: Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in Coming
Home (1978); Tom Buchanan in the classic The Great Gatsby
(1974); The King of Marvin Gardens (1972); They
Shoot Horses Dont They? (1969); The Cowboys
(1969) for which he received some death threats for having gunned
down fellow actor John Wayne. Played a judge in Billy Bob Thorntons
All the Pretty Horses (2000). He has a long list of
acting credits on stage and in film. Father of actress Laura Dern.
Paul Dooley (Mayor Don Vaughn)
Born: Feb. 22, 1928, in Parkersburg, W.Va. as Paul Brown.
Tidbits: Dooley was a keen cartoonist as a youth and drew a strip
for a local paper in Parkersburg. He joined the Navy before discovering
acting while at college. Moving to New York, he soon found success
as a regular on the stage. Also having an interest in comedy, Dooley
was a standup comedian for five years, as well as having brief stints
as a magician and as a clown. Not afraid of trying different areas
of entertainment, he has also worked as a writer. After appearing
in many movies, including most notably Popeye (1980),
Dooley is appearing as recurrent characters on various shows, including
My So-Called Life (1994), Dream On (1990),
Grace Under Fire (1993), and Star Trek: Deep Space
Nine (1997).
Chelcie Ross (Roger Epperson)
Born: Oct. 26, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Notable roles: Movie-goers may recognize Ross as Notre Dame football
coach Dan Devine in Rudy (1993). He was also in Hoosiers
(1986), another Indiana-based film, Primary Colors (1998),
My Best Friends Wedding (1997) and Basic
Instinct (1992) among many others.
Tidbits: Graduated from Pemberton Twp. High School (N.J.) in 1960
while residing in nearby Fort Dix. In high school, he played varsity
baseball, football and basketball. He currently lives in the Chicago
area.
