Since successfully playing host to Tim McGraws
tour last summer, it has been our mission to continue showcasing our
facility as a premier concert venue, Kentucky Speedway Executive
Vice President and General Manager Mark F. Cassis said. Delivering
on that strategy isnt always easy because our speedway is very
busy with race-related events, so, to be able to bring in several popular
artists for one big show really has our team excited.
Kentucky Speedway will convert its 66,089-seat motorsports facility
into a 20,000-seat concert venue featuring 14,000 lower grandstand seats
and a 6,000 fan capacity on-track, standing-room-only, VIP area with
access to private concession and restroom areas. The speedway will roll
back its fencing to ensure grandstand guests an unencumbered view of
the performances and position staircases on its frontstretch to give
fans convenient access to the VIP area.
Musicians will entertain on a 200-foot stage positioned between the
paved quarter-mile track and the apron of the speedway 1.5-mile tri-oval.
The set-up also will feature two 30-foot video screens and accompanying
state-of-the-art speaker banks.
Its important to keep our venue in the forefront of the
music industry by creating a unique atmosphere for artists that accommodates
our guests desire for modern-day amenities, Cassis added.

27. On-track VIP tickets are $85. Tickets can be reserved through the
