Single events tickets now on sale
SPARTA, Ky. (January 2005) Race fans now purchase single-event tickets for the 2005 Kentucky Speedway season at or below 2004 prices. The tickets went on sale in January.
Were certainly excited about our upcoming season and that our ownership was able to hold the line on ticket pricing to reward the fans that have supported our facility for the past five seasons, said Kentucky Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager Mark F. Cassis, who leads the venue into its sixth year of operation. We look forward to presenting our fans with a solid variety of stock car, open-wheel and short-track action in 2005 as well as great pre-race entertainment with country music favorites Travis Tritt, The Charlie Daniels Band, Billy Ray Cyrus, SHeDaisy and The Kentucky Headhunters.
Kentucky Speedway will pack 11 races and country music artists Travis Tritt, The Charlie Daniels Band, Billy Ray Cyrus, SHeDAISY and The Kentucky Headhunters into five weekends of entertainment in 2005. The 2005 schedule features main events with the NASCAR Busch Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Indy Racing League IndyCar Series, ARCA RE/MAX Series and NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division Southeast Series. Four races will be broadcast to national television audiences over networks such as ABC, ESPN, FX and SPEED Channel.
