SPARTA, Ky. (July 2014) – Brad Keselowski spent most of the Quaker State 400 presented by Advance Auto Parts out front, but had to chase down and pass five cars before he could celebrate another victory at Kentucky Speedway on June 28.
He passed Kyle Busch for the lead with 20 laps remaining June 28 and pulled away to claim the Sprint Cup Series race for the second time in three years.
"It was kind of one of those races where the whole race you just know you've got a really fast car," Keselowski said. “And my (car) was hauling the mail. You’re just waiting for something to wrong and it didn’t.”
It was a dominating performance from start to finish by the 2012 Sprint Cup champion.
He led 199 of 267 laps and becomes the sixth driver to win two or more Sprint Cup races this season. His other victory came at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a mile and a half track like Kentucky Speedway.

Harvick wins Nationwide race

Kevin Harvick passed Kyle Busch on a restart with five laps remaining and won the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign 300 presented Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over on June 27 at the Kentucky Speedway.
Harvick tried to pass Busch on an earlier restart but couldn't quite pull it off. A caution with eight laps to go set up the final restart and a final opportunity for the driver of the No. 5 JR Motorsports Chevrolet to take the lead.
He did, passing Busch as they drove into Turn 1 and then driving off to his 42nd career NASCAR Nationwide Series victory and second this season.
Brad Keselowski finished second in the No. 22 Team Penske Ford. For much of the race, his car was the class of the field.

Busch wins Truck Series race

Kyle Busch continued his domination of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on June 26.
The Sprint Cup Series regular started from the pole in the No. 51 Toyota and withstood a late challenge from within his own team to win the UNOH 225 at the Kentucky Speedway and keep alive the possibility of a three-race sweep this weekend.
The victory is his fifth in as many Camping World Truck starts this season, second in a truck race at Kentucky and 40th career in the series.
